Tiltburst Privacy Policy
Last updated: November 3, 2026
Tiltburst is an Android game made by Ilay Bacil, an individual developer ("we"). This policy explains what this version of the game collects and why.
What we collect
If "Share usage stats" is on, the game sends gameplay statistics. The setting is on by default. We use these statistics only to learn whether players come back and where they get stuck, so we can improve the game.
- When sessions and runs start and end, how long they last, and how many runs you have played.
- Your score, rank, difficulty, game mode, kills and best chain, and whether you set a new best or reached the Hive.
- What ended the run, whether you started it from the home screen or with a retry, how many pauses, recalibrations and sweeps it had, and how long it was paused.
- The app version, the time of each event, a unique ID and sequence number for each event, and a flag that marks our own test builds.
- A random ID for each session, and a random ID for each install.
The install ID is created on your device and lets us count returning players. It isn't linked to your name, email, Google account, advertising ID or device ID. We don't collect your name, contact details, location, contacts or photos.
This version of the game has no ads, accounts or in-app purchases.
Where it goes
Data is sent over HTTPS to our server on Cloudflare, which runs it for us. Cloudflare sees your IP address while handling the connection; we don't store IP addresses or request headers. We don't sell or share the data.
Your choice
Turn it off in Settings. This deletes the ID and any unsent data on your device, and nothing more is sent. Your game progress stays on your device. If you turn it on again, the game creates a new ID.
Retention and deletion
Event data is deleted automatically after 90 days. We may keep totals that don't include IDs. Because the ID isn't linked to you and isn't shown in the game, we can't find one person's data on request; it is deleted automatically on that schedule.
Your settings, your progress and a log of how your runs ended (such as time, score, kills and what ended the run) are stored on your device. This log isn't sent anywhere, and turning off "Share usage stats" doesn't delete it. Uninstalling the game removes all of this, along with the ID and any unsent data.
Children
The game is intended for players aged 13 and over. We don't ask for anyone's age or identity.
Changes
When the game starts handling data differently, we update this page and the date above in the same release. If there is a new purpose, we ask for your consent again.
